Official Description & Notes
This is an update to the original video (found here: https://youtu.be/0-WGkbhf6zw?si=uOFStKVXk4rQgMh3 ). That was how to create a shortcut to the Sound Panel in Windows 10. Things a bit different for Windows 11, and here is how to do the same thing in Win 11. If you hadn't seen the original video, basically this is for getting into your list of all audio devices - mics, interfaces, speakers, etc. - and drilling into the details to change things like input levels, default devices, etc. Windows tried to make it "easier" in Windows 10 and 11, and ended up making it hard to get to the panel. But here is how you can do it if you want more control. And if you are doing a lot of recording on your computer (podcasts, music, audio books, voiceover, etc.), this will be super helpful.
