Official Description & Notes

http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/health/e/ebstein/ Ebstein anomaly is an abnormality in the tricuspid valve. The tricuspid valve separates the right atrium (the chamber that receives blood from the body) from the right ventricle (the chamber that pumps blood to the lungs). Mild defects may require no specific treatment, but surgery may be indicated depending on a child's specific circumstances. Heart models and animation were developed by the Cincinnati Children's Heart Institute in conjunction with Cincinnati Children's Critical Care Media Lab. http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/service/h/heart-institute/default/
